In 2006, Nishorgo, a Protected Forest Area Management Program of Forest Dept, arranged a National Architectural Design Competition for Visitor's Interpretation Centre at Lawachara, Sylhet. The competition was organized in association with Institute of Architects in Bangladesh (IAB).

As a team design proposal, our design for the 'Lawachara Visitor Centre' was awarded as Honourable mention in the national architecture design competition in 2006. Jury comments
praised the sensible and sustaianle design idea on a deep forest context, our elaborated
construction details and presentation.
